Module Installation

This page describes how to install the DNNGo LayerGalleryPro module on your DNN site.

Requirements

Before using LayerGalleryPro, make sure your environment meets the following requirements:

  • DNN platform: DNN 9.5 or higher (DNN 10.2 recommended)
  • .NET Framework: 4.7.2 or higher
  • Database: SQL Server 2008 R2 or higher
  • Browser: modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Server permissions: SuperUser (Host) permissions
  • Install package: DNNGo_LayerGalleryPro_x.x.x_Install.zip

Version compatibility

Version 2.0.0 and above are compatible with DNN 10.00.00; version 1.5.0 is compatible with DNN 9.10.2.

Installation Steps (DNN 9 / 10)

Step 1: Log in to the site

Log in to your DNN site with the superuser (Host) account.

Step 2: Open extension management

Navigate to Settings → Extensions.

Step 3: Install the module package

  1. Click the Install Extension button.
  2. Upload the install package DNNGo_LayerGalleryPro_x.x.x_Install.zip.
  3. Follow the installation wizard to complete the installation.

Step 4: Add the module to a page

After installation, go to the page where you want to display the slider:

  1. Enter page edit mode and choose a Pane.
  2. Find DNNGo LayerGalleryPro in the module list and add it.
  3. Once added, you can start configuring your slider content.

Management Entry

After the module is added to a page, a Manager button appears on the page — click it to open the module management interface. The top menu of the management interface (actual 2.x UI) includes:

The top bar also shows the module version and license type (e.g. DNNGo.LayerGalleryPro 02.02.00 | Enterprise version).

Upgrading the Module

To upgrade, simply install the new package in extension management without uninstalling the old version — module data is preserved and upgraded automatically.
