Module General Settings
The module General Settings apply to the current module instance, in contrast with the Slider Settings that apply to the whole slider. Click General Settings in the top menu of the management interface; the page contains three panels.
Data Settings
This panel copies data from other module instances on your site:
- Copy Of Other Module: check to enable the copy feature;
- Portals: choose the source portal (cross-portal copying is supported);
- Tab & Module: choose the source page and module instance (listed as "page breadcrumb -> module name").
For detailed steps and use cases, see Copy From Other Module.
Media Library
Controls how library images are processed:
- Enable Compression: enable image compression;
- Compression Quality: the quality value, 0-100, defaulting to 90.
Google Fonts Settings
Configures Google web fonts for module content (such as text layers), avoiding dependence on the skin's fonts:
- Pick a font in the Font Alias selector (searchable; the list covers all Google Fonts);
- Check the character subsets you need (latin, cyrillic, vietnamese, etc.) and the weights/styles (100-900 plus italics);
- Click Add Font to add multiple fonts; added fonts are listed as tags that can be removed.
After saving, the front-end automatically loads the selected fonts via fonts.googleapis.com CSS, and text layers can use them directly.
Tip
Only check the subsets and weights you actually use to reduce font file size and speed up page loading.
