New in 8.x

Version 8.x also provides Enable AlbumID To URL on this page, which keeps the AlbumID parameter in friendly URLs — useful when albums need to be located by ID.

Per-album SEO

Besides the module-level settings, each album has its own SEO Settings section in the editor:

  • Friendly Urls — the friendly URL alias of this album.
  • SEO Title — the page title of this album.
  • SEO Keywords — the keywords of this album.
  • SEO Description — the description of this album.

Combined with submitting your Sitemap, search engines can crawl album and category pages more efficiently.
