Content Builder ​

Content Builder is a powerful, intuitive page editing module for building content areas: pick a section, drag it into place, and fill it in — no code, and what you see is what you get.

How it relates to Theme Plugin Pro

The core of the theme is the Theme Plugin Pro layout system (Header / Content / Footer layouts, page templates and theme options). Content Builder handles the content blocks inside a page — the two work together.

Upload the Resource Files ​

The Content Builder module ships with a large set of resource files and preset templates that must be uploaded manually via FTP.

Find the ContentBuilder folder in the download package and upload it with your FTP software to the Portals/_default/ directory of your site. There are many files, so the upload takes a while. Once it finishes, the module is ready to use.

Upload path

The folder must end up at Portals/_default/ContentBuilder/.... Any other path and the section thumbnails and templates will fail to load.

Quick Start ​

Log in with an admin account and add the DNNGo Content Builder module to a full-width pane. Click the + symbol on the left of the control panel, or click Click to add content inside the module, then pick a section in the pop-up window to add it to the page.
