Comment Settings

xEvent's comments are powered by Disqus. Open Settings → Comment Settings — a single Basic Options panel:

Option	Description
Enabled Comment	Enable comments on the event detail page (on by default)
Require login to comment	Require users to log in before commenting
Disqus Shortname	The shortname of your Disqus site, required

::: note To enable the service, register an account at disqus.com and set the Disqus Shortname. All comment features (moderation, anti-spam, UI language) are managed in the Disqus dashboard. :::

Steps

1. Register at disqus.com, create a site and obtain the Shortname.
2. Enter it in Disqus Shortname and save.
3. The Disqus comment widget loads automatically on event detail pages.
